Gerry Montague has been an avid NASA space collector for many years. His passion began at the young age of ten, when he wrote to Neil Armstrong, requesting a signed photograph. This was the unofficial start of Astronaut Archives. Years later, upon receiving his Business Degree, Gerry was employed as a Sales Representative in the pharmaceutical world and continued, little by little, to grow his collection. Gerry’s philosophy wasn’t to collect just any photograph, but to collect only the very best! It wasn't until 2005 that Gerry decided to fulfill his passion and launch Astronaut Archives. Since then, he has become a well-respected and valued member in the space community, often assisting other collectors, dealers, and auction houses with authentication and advice. His guidance and insight have also helped to uncover forgeries which have plagued the collecting community, helping to keep the hobby safe for other collectors.
